The Oklahoma Bible Academy Music Department received the Class 2A Grand Sweepstakes Trophy at the 75th Tri-State Music Festival held in Enid May 3-5.  OBA was the only school in our class to qualify for the award.  Schools are awarded points for the efforts of the band and choir programs and must earn 500 or more points to qualify for the Grand Sweepstakes honor. 

The High School Girls' Chorus received a superior rating in concert and the High School Mixed Chorus received an excellent rating.  The Middle School Mixed Chorus received an excellent rating but walked away with the Sweepstakes trophy for class 2C.  There were 16 superior ratings and 1 excellent rating given to OBA individuals and/or small groups.  There were 7 superior and 4 excellent ratings given to OBA students who played a piano or stringed instrument solo.
